My husband, who passed away almost four years ago, gives me a gift every spring. The first flowers appear on the path up the hill from the parking area – white, yellow and purple baby crocus. Next come the daffodils, my favorites: miniature and full size, yellow, yellow with orange, yellow with white. Lastly, the tulips come out: white, yellow, red, purple. The yard is full of blooms from mid-March until May. Every year I give thanks for this very special gift and wish Jim was here to enjoy them with me.
