On a beautiful day in October (10/19/2017), International Neighbors gathered for a spooktacular IN Day and loads of Halloween fun!

Members in attendance displayed their cheerful spirits with colorful and creative costumes, hats and masks. A few spider men, batman, lady bug, bumble bees and other little goblins were spotted in the party along with their moms and having a good time playing Mummy Bowling, Candy Corn Race, Halloween Basketball Battle, Monster Donut Dangle, and of course, trick-or-treating with friendly witch DeGloria. The energizing bunny of the day was PenPen! She led the games and had the participants run, dance, run, jump, hop, spin, and challenged them to unique yoga poses with a Halloween Pose Contest. The participants’ endurance was remarkable!

The display of hand-carved fruits and vegetables, all intricately and delicately hand carved by PenPen, was a feast to the eyes.

If you sadly and sourly missed the IN Halloween party, mark your calendar now for the upcoming “Taste of the Holidays” on Friday, Nov. 17th.
